Roll-Up Door Prop (RUD)

The Roll Up Door Prop shown here is a weld-on version manufactured for mounting on to a Conex Box or pre-existing structure.

RUD - Weld-In / Mounted

All of our Conex Box Training Centers come with the RUD brackets mounted into the box. The RUD posts can be installed at any time. If you already have a conex box or pre-existing structure, the Weld-In / Mounted option arrives with all necessary parts for installation. Excluded: 4x4 wood beams and actual roll-up door. Instructions and setup available both in written and video form along with training tutorials.

RUD - Stand Alone

The Stand Alone RUD is exactly as named as it stands alone on its own monster base plates. Though heavy as a whole system, it disassembles to be transportable from station to station as needed. No pre-existing structure is needed to function. All necessary parts are included (excluding consumables: 4x4 wood beams and actual roll-up door). Instructions and setup available both in written and video form along with training tutorials.

Description & Usage:

The Roll-Up Door Prop (RUD) is designed to provide a stand-alone, load-bearing system to engage a commercial roll-up door. The Stand Alone version is easily moved and reset multiple times, its purpose is to provide a repetitive use location when training forcible entry methods on roll-up doors.

Note: a Stand Alone RUD will be quoted unless otherwise requested.

Features:

  • Decreases risk of injury training personnel by eliminating the need to lift door into place

  • Will handle all widths of roll-up door up to 14’

  • Mounting roll-up doors or sheet metal made simple: lag screw, nail, or bolt your preexisting roll-up door to the RUD, crank it up into place, and it’s ready to go

  • Quick Reset: A single crank system allows for a single person to reload

  • The Mounting Bed lowers to waist level for easy reloading of the RUD

Setup:

  • Not Included - 4x4 pressure treated lumber (3). Two pieces at 80” each and one 12’ header

  • Not Included - roll-up door consumable

  • Drums arrive pre-spooled. Setup required of driveline and lifting/winch mechanism

  • Installation manual + Installation Videos provided

Resetting for Multi-Use Training:

Lag screws / nails / bolts required for affixing your roll-up door to the RUD-P. Mounting bed lowers to ground level to allow a single crank system to be lowered or raised by a single person for reload.
